The Impact Catalyst Project Dashboard offers an interactive experience for the user to navigate and filter projects driven by the Impact Catalyst. The interface allows users to navigate projects using a series of category selectors, such as administrative boundaries and sector-specific filters. It also offers the capability to navigate and filter projects by “project status” and “projects by department” through a series of serial charts.
The selection of projects filtered either through the category selectors or interactive serial charts will trigger the project count indicator, providing a tally of projects undertaken within the chosen criteria.
The dashboard's interactive map enhances this experience by panning, zooming, and filtering based on your selections, offering a spatial representation of where projects are located or the extent of their influence.

The Impact Catalyst Project Atlas provides an online digital web map that portrays where the Impact Catalyst projects are located across South Africa. A map of South Africa serves as the backdrop to the atlas, and all information layers can be displayed against this background. Information layers have been grouped into 11 sectors. Each layer depicts the location or, when applicable, several locations for a particular project. The user navigates to the relevant group where it can be expanded to display the individual layers within it. The user can display (make visible) the item to reflect it on the map.

Each layer depicts the location or, when applicable, several locations for a particular project. The user navigates to the relevant group where it can be expanded to display the individual layers within it. The user can display (make visible) the item to reflect it on the map.
Colour ranges were also utilized to depict the Impact Catalyst Department responsible for the project. The colour range for departments are depicted on the intro splash screen. The user can also zoom into the map, utilise alternative map backgrounds by choosing options from the basemap widgets. Other widgets also enable the user to add their own content, extract coordinates or print the displayed map. Project information can also be obtained by clicking on the activated feature on the map – a pop-up window will feature the project name, status and sector.
